Using the metaphor of music and unresolved chords, this sermon proclaims the gospel as God’s great work of bringing resolution to broken hearts and a broken world. Tracing Scripture from creation through the promises, covenants, kings, prophets, and finally to the birth of Jesus, the sermon shows how humanity’s deep longing for wholeness cannot be resolved through effort, law, or self-made solutions. Jesus—born of a virgin, fulfilling every promise, sacrifice, and hope—is revealed as the final chord of God’s redemptive symphony. Rather than merely offering answers or techniques, Christ Himself is the resolution our hearts seek. In Him, God tunes our lives to grace, brings rest to our souls, and invites us to live in harmony with His redeeming song.
